This is a work about smell interactive installation named “Perfume”. By setting a small stand in a small room, we put a rotten cat body on it (specimen processed) and spray various top brand perfumes on it which allows. the audience to smell it when they walking in this room as well as walking around this dead cat. When facing this filthy and rotten body, people are showing their emotion of disgusting and loathing while once they closing eyes, they can’t escape the smell since it functions together with their breathing. Sometimes we may enjoy a good smell and its long aftertaste but what we see in front of us may frighten us, which means that sometimes it is not the thing in front of us that confuses you because your other senses may bring you different perceptions,I think that this is the deeper meaning I’d like to express.
